Of The Golf Course!
You wouldn’t believe just how often agents simply forget to showcase what they are selling. For instance, if the property has a premium attribute, such as a golf course view, then by all means, the online listing pictorial should show plenty of pictures of the golf course view.
The beautiful picture at left is an advertisement for plantation shutters. But it reminds me of a particular stale bay area golf course listing.
In writing the copy for the listing, the agent boasts that the house has the best golf course views of any house in the area. Yet, when the listing agent took a series of absolutely horrible, over-exposed interior photographs, the golf course view was neglected. Potential buyers were, what, just supposed to line up to see the actual views of the golf course by appointment only?
It is a pity. The property is lovely and truly worth seeing – and it’s not overpriced. Yet it’s been on the market for over two years. Long past time to get a stager and a professional photographer in there. Immediately, if not sooner!
